Anyone know any good restaurants in york, UK?

Not fussy about what type of food, just some recommendations. Also could you let me know what price bracket we're talking? Cheers.

When we went on holiday for our first wedding anniversary earlier in the year, we had a lovely meal at the blue bicycle.

Dinner prices - main course £15-£20

I think that there are lots of lovely restaurants though - but this one was recommended where we were staying.

york is an amazing place. theres tons of good eating places there, in fact, i think it's all good. i went to a superb italian restaraunt there, but you must book before hand, it's so popular.

and yes, in general, york,when i went,was quite pricey. but i would definatly go again.have a good time.

last year we went to a small wine bar which served excellent food .it was called plonkers .very goog value ,nice wine,,great meal.it is easy to find as it is by the river opposite an italian restauraunt and by the theatre.also try bettys tea room.
