Stellar, you are such a liar (or gullible)!  Cheesecake Factory is a publicly company traded on the NASDAQ under CAKE.  If your friends are the Overtons, then they are the founders, but not owners since they went public in 1992.

On to the question at hand:  Depending on your location, there are many great restaurants out there, depending on what type of food you are looking for.  I personally try to stay away from chains and am not too impressed with C.F.

Yes. Grand Lux at the Beverly Center, it's owned by the Cheesecake Factory.

Try Brio, Carraba's, Maggiano's, Macaroni Grill, etc.

Try going to a local place.  Cheesecake Factory is just a glorified Mickey D's.  You think you are getting good food because it costs a lot, is full of fat, salt sugar and deep fried or grilled to death and the decor is pleasing.



Their food is frozen, low quality, pre-made stuff that they pawn off on people. Go to a restaurant with real chefs who would be ashamed to serve up the food from the Cheesecake Factory or any chain restaurant.

Yes, California Pizza Kitchen. They're known for their pizzas and salads. That's my favorite place!
