All season tires and winter tires?

I have two new all season tires on front wheels of my front drive car and two old summer tires on rear wheels. in this winter (Toronto,Canada), should I buy 2 winter tires to replace two new all season tires on front wheels and switch two all season tires to rear wheels. then even in summer, I will keep the winter tires. what is your opinion? thanks
