99 Chevy Blazer Problems?

Hello,

I have a 99 chevy blazer 2 door. I am having trouble with it while it is reverse. When you first start the truck and put it in reverse it doesn't want to go. The rpms go up but it will only back up slowly or just coast. But after you drive it for a while I no longer have this problem. Anyone have any ideas of what I need to look at. Also it has trouble going up steep hills the rpms will rev but won't go any faster.
