740 Turbo 1985 Volvo alternator belt

i changed my broken alternator belt today so heres how you do it. first, loosen the tension s***w located at the top of the alternator. you will need a 10mm socket or wrench. then loosen the 1/2 inch nut at the bottom front of the alternator. this will give you plenty of slack to slide the new belt on. re-tighten the tension s***w first and then the 1/2 inch nut.that's it.good luck. note* i used wd-40 on the s***w and nut before i started, which helped alot.
