2010 Compuware NHL Premiere Series – Colorado Avalanche win 6-3 against the St. Louis Blues

The final game of Monday and 252nd game of the Compuware NHL Premiere Series was played at the Pepsi Centre. The match saw the home team Colorado Avalanche up against the St. Louis Blues. This was the 17th game for the Colorado Avalanche
and the 16th game for the St. Louis Blues. Though there was a smaller crowd of around 13,000 but there was no shortage of entertainment.
Both the teams made an explosive start to the match with the St. Louis Blues scoring in the first minute to take the lead. The goal was scored by Alexander Steen through a flick shot.
The home team was content on registering a win and a goal in the 6th minute to level the scores boosted their confidence. The goal was scored by John Michaels Liles through a decent strike from close range.
The home team pushed in search of another goal and took the lead with a goal in the 13th minute. The goal was scored by John Michaels Liles once again through a powerful strike this time. The period saw the final goal also being scored in favour

The St. Louis Blues worked hard and with the constant attacks managed to score in the 8th minute. The goal was scored by Brad Boyes through a decent strike. The final goal of the period was scored by Kevin Porter in favour of Colorado Avalanche
in the 14th minute.
During the course of the final period, the Colorado Avalanche made 3 goal attempts while the St. Louis Blues made 9 goal attempts as the Colorado Avalanche won the match 6-3.
