<p style="text-align:justify"><strong>The Partenopei chief is delighted with the Chilean’s signing; Riccardo Bigon confirms he will be the only addition to squad in January transfer window</strong></p>
<p style="text-align:justify">Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has confirmed the capture of striker, Eduardo Vargas, from Universidad de Chile.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">The Azzurri had agreed a fee with the Chilean club recently, and now, the player has passed the medical, and has officially become a Napoli player. The transfer fee is believed to be in the region of 10 million Euros.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">The Chilean international was linked with a host of clubs, and Premier League giants, Chelsea, were also reportedly interested in his signature. However, Napoli have beaten their UEFA Champions League, last 16 round rivals, for
the Chilean international.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">Laurentiis has confirmed the signing of Vargas, and revealed that the player has passed the medical, and has also signed a contract. The Partenopei chief admitted that the signing of Vargas is a proof of his team’s growth in the
recent years.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">Laurentiis said, “I can officially announce that we have signed Vargas. A few minutes I go I received a phone call from our doctor who has given the player the OK from a physical point of view. We’ve signed the contracts and we
have beaten some very strong clubs who were also chasing the player. This is proof that we are always on the lookout for talented youngsters from around the world in order to help Napoli grow.”</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">Vargas is eligible to play in the UEFA Champions league, and is likely to be involved in the first-team action immediately.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify">On the other hand, Napoli Sporting Director, Riccardo Bigon, has confirmed that they will not make any more January signings. Bigon admitted that the Azzurri squad is complete with some quality players, and they do not need any
further signings. The chief also confirmed that midfielders, Miguel Britos, and Marco Donadel, will recover from their respective injuries in time for Napoli’s next league game.</p>
