  1. If you've only just put them in, it might be, but if you've worn them for hours and it's still not clear, the prescription is probably too strong.  Talk to your doctor.

  2. OF COURSE IT IS NOEMAL!

YOU HAVE NOYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT BECAUSE BLURRED VISION IS TOTALLY NORMAL BUT JUSTTO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE YOU SHOULD ASK YOUR PARNTS TO LET YOU DO SEE THE OPTIONIST

  3. It's not that unusual.

It my disappear quite quickly with a few day's wear,

It may disappear with some eye relaxation exercises, or just possibly your Rx has been overdone.  Don't assume it's the last one.

With longsight, your eyes have been "making up the difference" in focussing power with muscular effort.  Day in, day out, for years.  Now they don't have to: the Rx on the contacts is doing that job.

But the eyes don't always stop making the now unnecessary effort instantly.  They've got the habit, and it takes a while to kick it.  They have to learn that it's OK to relax... That's where some simple eye exercises can help.

  4. No you may have the wrong prescription.  take them back at once.  kh

  5. It all fine and dandy to try them for a bit, but you may also want to just mention it to whoever did the fitting. It could be something as simple as having the wrong sign on the contacts you rec'd. EX: -1.00 instead of +1.00. It's a simple mistake that happens often enough.  Contact lens boxes can also be mismarked. If that is the case wearing them will only waste your time. Always better to confirm the numbers and if it all checks out then give them a bit more time.
