Emery happy with Spartak Moscow’s win against SL Benfica

Unai Emery has praised Artem Rebrov, after recording their first win in the UEFA Champions League campaign
Spartak Moscow moved up to the third spot on their respective group table ahead of after winning their third group stage match of the UEFA Champions League against the Primeira Liga side 2-1 at Luzhniki stadium on Tuesday.
The travelling side scored an own goal to give away all three points to the Red-whites despite scoring an equalizer after conceding an early goal in the enthralling European encounter.

“Ananidze has shown a very high level game despite his young age. He lacked consistency because he did not have enough match practice. Bilyaletdinov’s performance was also satisfactory. He is a great professional who can go out
and make vital contributions in a tough match.” The former Real Sociedad man was quoted as saying.
Emery revealed that the entire squad is happy with the win and it seems like they are getting back on track after a series of disappointing results in the league and the European tournament.
He showered praise on his side that played extensively both in defence and offense and urged the Spartachi to win the remaining group stage matches in the cup tournament if they are to reach the knock-out phase.
