The Partenopei striker targets UEFA Champions League quarter-final qualification; hails the club and commits his long-term future at Stadio San Paolo. is hopeful that Napoli can repeat the heroics of the Manchester City game to knock Chelsea out of UEFA Champions League.
Napoli go into the second-leg at Stamford Bridge with a 3-1 advantage from the return leg a fortnight ago. Cavani is desperate to see his team qualify for the quarter-finals regardless of the result of the match.
The Uruguayan admitted that Chelsea are a very strong team, and it will not be easy for his side to claim a win at Stamford Bridge. However, he believes that Napoli are motivated to go on the ground, and perform to the best of
their abilities.
While talking to the reporters, Cavani said:
“It’s true I have already scored against City, but our objective is to get through to the quarter-finals, it doesn’t matter who we are facing. Chelsea are a strong side, but we’ve been working for this for a long time and will
really fight for it. It’ll be a wonderful moment when the referee blows the whistle to begin. We’ll try to feel this moment deep within us, regardless of the result.”

Cavani has warned his team against the impact the English fans can make for their teams, and insists that the fans nearly pulled off a remarkable comeback for the Gunners. The 25-year-old commended his teammates for the
support they have provided him with, and admitted that he enjoys playing alongside the whole bunch rather than a few world-class individuals.
The striker refused to draw himself on the transfer talk, insisting that he is happy at Stadio San Paolo, and will remain here for a long period. are enjoying a dream debut Champions League campaign, having already beaten top forces such as Chelsea, Manchester City and Villarreal.
