David De Gea backs Robin Van Persie’s arrival at Manchester United

The Manchester United goalkeeper has come out and backed Robin Van Persie’s arrival at Old Trafford after Sir Alex Ferguson successfully lured him to the red half of Manchester by fighting off competition from the likes of
Juventus and Manchester City in the current transfer window...
Spain’s U-21 goalkeeper has confirmed that he is delighted to see at Old Trafford and branded the Dutchman has perhaps the best striker in club football at the moment as Manchester United recently secured his signature
from Arsenal.
After a long transfer window saga regarding Van Persie’s future at, the North London club finally parted ways with their talismanic striker who led them to a third place finish last season and also won the Premier League
golden boot in the process. Not only that, Van Persie was a leader on the field as well and inspired others to step up their game as well.
The Dutch goal scorer has had various injury problems in the past but that has not prevented Sir
on 20th of August, 2012. It is rumoured that Van Persie will be included in the squad for that match although it remains to be seen whether or not he will start the encounter for the Red Devils.
With Van Persie’s arrival at Old Trafford, United have perhaps the best strike force in the English Premier League which will give them the edge over Manchester City as far as the title race is concerned.
De Gea said, "He's one of the greatest strikers in the world and it would be a really great signing for us. He made a great difference last year with the number of goals he scored. Our players will give him a lot of support and
opportunities to score goals - so he'll soon find his rhythm and strengths here.”
He added, "It's better to have him in our team and helping us. He's a player who scores a lot of goals and he's very cool up front. He has a lot of quality to his game."
