According to French and English newspapers, Liverpool striker, Luis Suarez is under the radar of cash-laden Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain. Reports claim that following his recent idiosyncrasy against Manchester United captain,, the club owners
are considering offloading the player in the summer transfer window.
L’Equipe now claims that Leonardo’s Paris Saint-Germain are keen on bringing the striker to the Parc des Princes. Les Parisiens have been in the market for a new striker for a long time and after failing to sign Tevez, the Ile giants
will take their chances on Luis Suarez.
Furthermore, the Uruguayan striker is also not against a move away from Anfield especially if the Reds fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season. As things stand, Liverpool’s chances of qualifying are slim as they are way behind fourth placed
Furthermore, PSG are willing to offer the striker a lucrative deal that could make him one of the highest-paid players in French Ligue 1.
Furthermore, FC might also consider selling the striker. Following his racial abuse on Manchester United captain Patrice Evra, Suarez was slapped with an eight-game ban. Upon his return, Suarez was involved in yet another controversy when he apparently
kicked International Scott Parker in his side’s 0-0 draw against Tottenham.
That was not the end of all this. Liverpool travelled to Old Trafford to play Manchester United in a Premier League game. Suarez refused to shale Evra’s hand before the game. Following the game, which United won 2-1, many influential figures criticised Suarez
and Kenny Dalglish for not admitting the striker’s fault despite clear cut evidence.
Liverpool owners are now considering offloading the player as the owners want to improve the image of the club. The way Liverpool have handled Suarez’s case has been a total PR fiasco and offloading him could be the only option despite the fact that they
will be losing an influential player.
