  1. Yes.  If you are talking about the red/blue 3D glasses, the filters block/pass certain frequencies of light, we see what is left and so does a color blind person just not in color.

Same with the polarizing filters, they block/pass oriented light and we and the colorblind person sees what is left again not in color.

  2. You can definitely see 3-D movies if you're colorblind.

  3. Yes, if the method used is to separate right/left images is polarized light.

Even if red or green filters are used it should still work, as the lenses filter out the light reaching each eye.  It does not matter what color the viewer perceives once the light gets to the eye.

  4. If the movie uses polarization discrimination, color blindness would make no difference.  If it uses temporal discrimination, color blindness would make no difference.  For example, shutter the right eye while displaying the left image.  If it uses spatial discrimination, color blindness would make no difference.  For example, display a separate image to each eye using something like binoculars.  If it uses the old, simple red/blue color discrimination, then it would depend on the nature of the color blindness, and in what ways the brain had adapted to the condition.

  5. I am color blind. Been color blind for many years. As a child I used to watch 3d movies and remember how they were. As an adult I have tried and it does not work. When I wear them correct it just makes me almost blind in the left eye and I just see the blue side on the right. It does work somewhat when i wear the glasses backwards but not as clear as it used to as a child.
