We believe safe. We tend to think that our education , our culture, our way of life to keep us safe from violence scoundrel who murdered several women each week. We are convinced that it will be part of that cluster of victims that look weakly to the news . We are confident that this ladder , that block of flats, those neighbors will never be ours.
Although there is no repeat profile victim of domestic violence , in the background we believe it is an evil that stalks the other , which failed to defend or educate, or rebel against discrimination. This week we had clear evidence to the contrary : a strong woman , feminist, advising denounce the first assault and participating in acts of violence against women , has been murdered by her ex-husband. Equality flowers can not grow in a minefield of weeds , crossed threats, old customs and complicity that require us to be "good " beyond our own interests.
