Hi Friends,

I would like to take health Insurance to my mother. Which plan is better and from which company?

My mother requires operation in few months. if i take insurance plan, is it covers the my mother operation.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but no legitimate insurance company is going to accept anyone with an impending operation on any individual plan. The will not accept her with a waiting period even if it's a simple operation because even simple operations can have major complications.

Check into your state's Medicaid plan to see if she qualifies. Other than a group policy through an employer Medicaid is the only way to get the operation covered.

chances are health insurance will call this a pre-existing condition and not cover it until after she has been covered by insurance for at least a year.
