  2. Hello there,

NOTE: This is my personal opinion from experience. Use advice at your own discretion! Talk to you doctor for my information.

Usually, laying out in the sun to tan is NOT a good idea. Why? Because it damages your skin...Actually, the reason why we get a tan (or a darker color) to our skin is because the skin cells become damaged by the UV rays from the sun (or a tanning bed...). I don't mean to scare you, but constantly getting a tan can cause wrinkles, skin damage, sun spots, freckles, and often times skin cancer (which can be fatal!). That's why doctors recommend that you always wear sunscreen. If you want more information, you can always check the internet for other ways to stay healthy and out of the sun! For more information, I would suggest talking to you doctor or healthcare provider, because they can give you more information on the subject!

I hope this helps. Good luck!

P.S.- I hope this wins best answer! =)

  3. because its bad for you skin and can cause skin cancer

  4. Teens of today do not need to get skin cancer like we adults are experiencing now.  With a little more knowledge, you must learn about how bad tanning beds as well as baking in the sun can be for skin.  Always use at least a 45 sunscreen on your exposed skin.  Ask a grownup if the skin on their butt looks the same as their face.  If you care for your skin now, you will not have wrinkles later in life.

  5. umm i think its cuz..well ur in the sun a lot..nd it could over heat ur boody?....or cuz da tanningbed isnt even good 4 ur skin..soo idk!

  6. She's not full of it, All of the UV rays are not good for you. Too much can lead to skin cancer

  7. I have never been really sure, but ether are health but I have done both for a long time.

  8. Becuase you could develope skin cancer (melanoma) which usually shows up on your skin as a small black deformed mole or a small wound after you tan for a while or on a tanning bed. Its not very common but it does happen occasionally. I would just tan outside (you can still get skin cancer). But tanning beds are worse.

  9. You're not supposed to lay in a tanning bed at ALL, especially not after laying in the sun.

    Two words: SKIN CANCER.

  10. Well for starters you can get skin cancer. And no to mention premature wrinkles.
