Is it time to brand the MILF as a terrorist group?

What are the categories that make a group a terrorist? Does MILF fall into any of these categories?

They already are marked as terrorists by the Philippine government. MILF are nothing but wussy fighters. They ambush soldiers and kill civilians because they cant face the Philippine military.

yes, they are a bunch of pawns used by landlords in Mindanao. why involve innocent civilians in their struggle?  why kill peace loving people just because they live in an area that does want to be included in the moa.

Bottomline is they are after the oil and rich natural resources of the areas MILF wants to own.  

Include geoplotics in this issue, I think developed countries are involved and they are the same people interested in our oil and rich natural resources.

a group could be tagged as terrorists if they don't have a political line and if they start killing innocent people senselessly. if they do not kill within the bounds of a "just and fair" process, then they are terrorists.

The Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) is a separatist group that uses terrorism to achieve their objectives so yes, in my book, they are terrorists.  The wanton killing of innocent civilians make them so.

I am unclear of the extent of MILF's ties with Misuari's Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF).  If I remember correctly, the former UP professor and his organization did achieve some major political concessions (the creation of the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao) from the government in less than terroristic fashion.  That was in the 70s.  Why the change of tactics?  Don't people believe in peace talks anymore?

Anyone that threatens people with violence, or should I say have already killed, ransacked, burned houses and all those terrible crimes should be deemed nothing else but terrorist.
