  1. If your looking for an old beetle you are looking at £1000 - £3000 depending on the condition. You would need to take it to a vw specialist for the paint job so they know exactly what is going on with the bodywork. They will often find something that needs attention so expect to pay for a servicing.

The paint job will vary on the type of paint and the amount of preparation they need to do beforehand.

I was quoted £1500 for fushia flip paint on a vw camper van that had already been sandblasted, so it'll be less than that I should think!

At Vanfest or Volksfest (VW rallies, held in Malvern, UK) you can sometimes find newly painted VWs that would be ready to go - expect to pay £5000+

There are also companies at these rallies that would be able to give you advice there and then on specific vehicles.

  2. you can get them from $6,000 to $12,000.

VW arent cheap to get fixed if anything breaks, but they are really good cars. I myself own a passat.

as far as a paint job goes, you can get a good paint job between $300 and $600.

atleast thats how the prices are in florida.

you can also look online at www.autotrader.com to find prices out in your area.

  3. well are you looking of a old beetle or a newer beetle
