How much u need to keep in bank to apply medicaid?

they don't go by your bank account in most states, there is an income limit that they go by. they will ask for your 4 most recent pay stubs, usually depending on how many children you have determines if you will qualify or not.

It depends on the state. In Texas you can have up to $5000 in liquid assets, I have heard in CA it is only $3000. Go to the website for your local Department of Health and Human Services. You should be able to get that information there or at least a phone number to call and ask.
